Default Kid's lunches

Hi,

I'm out of ideas for kids school sandwiches. I've been reading about the dangers with processed meat and I'm trying to avoid that. What do you suggest (that a 7 year old might be willing to try )

Hi BillyBob. Since the contaminated pork products scare last year, we've avoided all processed meats. What we do now is buy a piece of bacon at the start of the week and use it for sandwiches for a couple of days. My kids like cucumber sandwiches so that takes care of another day or two. Occasionally, they take cream crackers. I add some fruit to their packs, sometimes home-baked flapjacks or oat cookies for energy, and yoghurt for a well balanced meal. Hope this helps.
