Default Are you in an informal dinner party club in Ireland?

Hi there,

I’m a journalist with the Irish Examiner. I’m writing an article on the growth of informal dinner parties in Ireland.

If possible, I’d like to chat to someone who is in a monthly dinner party club. They’re like Book Clubs. They’re called different names in the UK, continental Europe and the States, e.g. Gourmet Clubs, Dinner Clubs, Supper Clubs. The idea is that a group of friends/neighbours meet at each other’s houses once a month. The host cooks for his/her guests. The role of host alternates each time.

Are you a member of a club? Do you know of someone who is? If so, I’d love to chat to you about it. How long has the club been in existence? Where did you get the idea? What’s involved? What’s the craic like? Etc. Etc.

For reference, my mobile is 086 605 4676; my email address is fitzpatrick.richard@gmail.com. Would love to hear from you.

All the best,
Richard
