I have "access" to an orchard with very mature cooking apple trees. The best apples are out of reach, and a ladder won't do the job as there's nothing to lean the ladder on. Has anyone ever seen a gadget/gizmo to help with picking apples from the top of a tree from the ground? some kind of telescopic pole with a claw at the end, that wouldn't damage the fruit would do the job.
